1. Turn off the circuit breaker controlling the installation area before beginning any electrical work.

2. Using the included template or the fixture dimensions, mark the cutout position on the wall at the desired step or corridor height (typically 15–20 cm above each step tread).

3. Cut the recessed opening in the wall using appropriate tools for your wall material (drywall saw, masonry cutter, etc.).

4. Route the supply wiring to the cutout location from the junction box or low-voltage transformer.

5. Connect the fixture wires — live to live, neutral to neutral, and ground to ground — using approved wire connectors.

6. Insert the step light into the wall opening and secure it using the included mounting clips or screws until the faceplate sits flush with the wall surface.

7. Restore power and test the PIR motion sensor by walking past the light. Adjust sensor sensitivity if the fixture includes a setting dial.

8. Professional installation is recommended, as recessed wall cutting and hardwired connections require experience and proper tools.
