1. Plan the layout — measure the area under your cabinet, along the staircase, or inside your wardrobe and note the required strip length.

2. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with a dry cloth to remove dust and grease, ensuring the adhesive bonds securely.

3. Cut the LED strip along the marked cut lines if a shorter length is needed. Do not cut between the markings.

4. Peel the adhesive backing and press the strip firmly onto the surface. For extra security, use the included screw-mount clips.

5. Connect the USB plug to any standard USB power adapter (5 V) or USB port on a laptop, power bank, or wall charger.

6. Test the hand-sweep sensor by waving your hand within 5–8 cm of the sensor module to turn the light on and off.

Wipe the LED strip surface gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. Avoid pressing hard on the LEDs.

Do not spray water or cleaning solution directly onto the strip or USB connector. Use a slightly damp cloth if needed, then dry immediately.

Keep the motion sensor area clear of grease, tape, or obstructions to maintain reliable hand-sweep activation.

Disconnect the USB cable before cleaning or repositioning the strip to avoid electrical contact with moisture.

Avoid bending the strip at sharp angles or folding it back on itself, as this can damage the internal circuitry and reduce LED lifespan.

Can I cut the hand-sweep LED strip to a custom length?

Yes. The strip has clearly marked cut lines — trim along any mark to shorten it. Cutting between the marks may damage the circuit.

Does the motion sensor work through a cabinet door?

No. The hand-sweep sensor requires a direct line of sight within 5–8 cm, so it should be mounted where your hand can pass near it.

What USB power source do I need for this LED strip?

Any standard 5 V USB port works — a wall adapter, laptop USB port, or portable power bank.

Is this LED strip waterproof for kitchen use?

The strip is splash-resistant for typical kitchen environments but is not rated for submersion. Avoid placing it directly above a sink.

Can I reconnect two cut pieces of the strip?
