How long do solar papaya string lights stay on at night?
With a full day of direct sunlight (6-8 hours), the lights can stay on for approximately 8-10 hours depending on the lighting mode selected. Shorter charge times will result in shorter illumination.
Can I use these solar string lights indoors?
They are designed for outdoor use, but you can use them indoors near a sunny window — just make sure the solar panel receives adequate direct sunlight for charging.
Do solar string lights work in cloudy or rainy weather?
The solar panel will still charge on cloudy days, though at reduced efficiency. The lights may turn on for a shorter duration. They are IP65 rated and safe to leave outside in rain.
Can I leave these lights outside all winter?
The IP65 rating protects against rain and snow. However, extreme frost or hail may damage the ABS covers over time. We recommend bringing them indoors during severe winter storms for maximum longevity.
How do I change the lighting mode?
Press the mode button on the solar panel unit to cycle through all 8 lighting patterns, including steady-on, flashing, and cascading effects.
Are replacement batteries available?
The rechargeable lithium battery is built into the solar panel unit. If battery performance declines after extended use, contact our customer support team for replacement options.
