Installation Type: Hardwired Outdoor Wall Mount (85–265 V AC)

1. Turn off the circuit breaker for the outdoor junction box. Verify with a voltage tester.

2. Position the mounting plate against the wall at the desired height and mark screw holes.

3. Drill holes, insert appropriate anchors, and fasten the plate securely.

4. Connect fixture wires to supply wires: live to live, neutral to neutral, ground to ground. Use waterproof connectors for outdoor applications.

5. Mount the ball lamp body onto the plate, ensuring the gasket seal sits flush for full IP65 waterproof protection.

6. Restore power and test. Professional electrician installation is recommended for outdoor mains-voltage work.

Wipe the aluminum ball housing with a damp cloth to remove dirt and pollen, then dry. Regular cleaning prevents mineral staining from rain evaporation.

Inspect the wall seal and gasket once a year, particularly after heavy storms, to maintain the IP65 waterproof rating.

Clear any insect nests or cobwebs from around the light opening to maintain full light output.

Turn off power at the breaker before any cleaning or maintenance.

Avoid pressure washing the fixture. While IP65-rated, sustained high-pressure jets can push moisture past seals over time.

Is this round ball wall lamp waterproof?
Yes. It has an IP65 rating, meaning it is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction — safe for rain, sprinklers, and exposed porches.
Does it include the LED?
Yes. The 6 W LED is integrated and requires no separate bulb purchase.
Can I use this indoors too?
Absolutely. Its simple round design works just as well in indoor hallways, bathrooms (dry zones), and contemporary living spaces.
Is this fixture dimmable?
No. It operates at full brightness on a standard on/off circuit.
How do I choose between white and black?
White blends into light-colored exterior walls for a subtle look, while black creates a bold contrast on lighter facades and matches darker modern exteriors.
What is the expected lifespan of the LED?
The integrated LED is rated for tens of thousands of hours — typically 10+ years of normal evening use without needing replacement.
